RECAP - BRINGING KABOO TO THE VARTA STORYTELLING WORKSHOP in ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN

Imagine…your kids attend an event all about creative storytelling. They are inspired, they create something beautiful and unique…what do you do? Take a picture and add it to your collection of 100,000 pictures that will eventually get lost in pixels. Or worse, add it to the collection of their burgeoning creative creations, but then eventually end up ignoring or discarding. It is difficult to balance your supporting your children’s creative expression without feeling as though you’re just adding digital and physical clutter. That’s what made the Kaboo-Peerbagh partnership different.

Peerbagh approached us because they believed our unique digital-to-physical card system could be used by kids and parents to get more out of the event. We set up a simple creative art and writing table, along with a QR code that connected them to the specially branded Peerbagh X Kaboo page. In 4 simple steps, parents could convert their kid’s work into a card that is preserved digitally, but also delivered as a real, physical greeting card to a loved one in the US and India. Some of the parents were delighted that their kids would be sending their first ever greeting card to grandma…and that the process was so easy and simple to use!

This was a wonderfully organized, and one-of-a-kind event for the Ann Arbor community. Peerbagh has always done a great job bringing cultural education that represents all of the South Asian diaspora community. That is one of the reasons we are extra proud to partner with the Peerbagh team. They have one more event this year in Austin, TX on November 2 - a Diwali special event. And you bet Kaboo will also be there on-site to spread and send more Diwali cheer!!
