Mythili is a recycled mixed media collage artist based in New York City.

Her journey as an artist began in 2020, in the midst of working as a journalist covering the pandemic. Using magazines, discarded or damaged canvases, shredded junk mail, fabric from old saris, and other materials destined for the landfill, she hopes to create something new, unexpected, and beautiful.

In 2023, Target.com began selling two of her designs on home decor items as part of its AAPI Heritage Month collection.

Mythili is also currently the president of the South Asian Journalists Association.
